I had a SUPER long day at work today.  I was only supposed to work for 6 hours but ended up working 9. More money for me yeah, but it was still really long.  Today was my fifth day and I was already training someone else. lol.  I am a receptionist (among other things) at Liberty Tax Service.  The girl that I was training was the other receptionist that will be working there.  I was super surprised to find out that I have the most hours out of anyone else working there other than the office manager!  Anyways, back to the new girl, she is really nice, very friendly.  We talked about boyfriends mostly, mine and her ex and what has happened between them.  She does talk very quietly though and needs to speak up on the phones to make sure that potential customers can hear her.

It got so busy today that I had to sit down and do some taxes for people.  I was really nervous and I forgot to uncheck the “Practice Mode” box.  So even though I did the taxes right and have them completely done, they aren’t actually in the system.  They are under the practice problems.  Which unfortunately means that they have to be completely re-entered.  I did all of the work so it should be pretty simple but grrrrrrr anyways.  The two people will be coming back tomorrow to sign their papers and then they are all done.  Pretty easy.  Just a pain for them to have to come back.  *Sigh* I hope I do better tomorrow.  I don’t like messing up, especially when so much is being placed on my shoulders.  So much expectation.  Very scary.  Goddess help me! lol
