I hate being sick. Really and truly I hate it. Being so congested that I cant breath properly and my chest feels SO heavy. Going to work while I am sick sucks too. Because I sound funny and I kinda scare people away. But Vicks is wonderful.
While I was growing up, whenever I would get sick, my parents or my grandparents would give me some Vicks to rub on my chest or under my nose. I have very fond memories of it. It is so soothing and relaxes my sinus’ enough to allow me to breath. It is one of my favorite scents now. Even when I’m not sick.
One of my silly little brothers doesn’t like Vicks…. which as I said, is silly, lol. It is just so helpful! Err…. well I am done rambling about that…. new subject?
Um…. work was okei. I was pulling down boxes from all of the shelves in the back room today. VERY HEAVY! One of the other ladies was helping me to pull them all down and she made a comment about how when one is working in an office, one should NOT break a sweat doing anything! lol, which I agree with. But that was the way that it went. It was hot and difficult, but we managed to get it all done. I also got lots of paper cuts and a couple of “rug burns” that were actually from a shelving system as I was putting a file box away. Annoying to say the least.
Next week I will be doing marketing for Liberty. Means more hours for me which means I get paid more every paycheck. YAY ME! For the first three hours every day I will be going out with one of the waivers and I will be the one doing the script. Then when Rochelle gets to work around noon, I will be switching into the stupid Liberty costume, (lol) and she will be the one talking to people. Makes my job super easy.
I do like my job and I love going to work every day. Just need to find a more comfortable way of wearing my heels every day, lol
